Just when you thought you had enough to think about – your own Aliens, your fellow Hosts’ Aliens, winning VIP challenges – there is even more havoc this side of the galaxy! The third card type is the Galactic Event Cards. These ones are special in that they add game-wide rules for as long as the card is active. Unlike the VIP challenges, there are no winners; instead, we celebrate the losers because they are the ones who will experience a penalty for all of us!

Galactic Events are red cards found when drawing into the main deck. When drawn, reveal to all Hosts and read aloud the rules of the Event. The Host who draws the card is the Event Leader and is exempt from the additional rules of the card. These cards remain active until a loser is declared based on the given rules.

After an Event has ended with a loser failing and meeting the end condition of the card, the loser must forfeit an Alien Card of their choice to the Event Leader! Any cards obtained in this manner immediately take effect – on top of your own Aliens’ rules, the other Host’s Aliens, and the additional rules from an Event just revealed… They do stack if other Hosts reveal additional Galactic Event Cards before one is resolved! Let the extreme chaos ensue!
